AmericanAncestry
It is easy to sign up for it but we can't seem to get it to show up as a research site in familysearch along with the other free ones that members are allowed to have. Any help?

@DavisBob2 AmericanAncestry is not one of the options in the Search Records section from a person's page in Family Tree. Not sure if that is what you are asking about "as a research site". If you'd like to see it there, you can make that suggestion. On the left panel in Community, click Ideas and then click Family Tree and make your suggestion.

Do you mean AmericanAncestors.org? This is the site for New England Historic Genealogical Society. It doesn't seem to search automatically from the person page of FamilySearch, but you can go to Americanancestors.org and log in and search that way. You go to the page, and select "search" near the top; you can search all the databases or narrow it before you search. NEHGS has a great collection of records, including Massachusetts vital records until about 1920, as well as vital records from other states and areas.
