Bygdebok Research Help FYI
The University of North Dakota library has a special collection of Norwegian farm books.
For $15 and copying costs you can have one hour of the archivist's time researching questions.
Service was excellent and the information gained was very valuable.

Thank you Kathy for the info. I might add the Family History Library in Salt Lake City also has a wonderful collection of farm books. They are reopening Tuesday, July 6th. If you can't visit the library, the new "Lookup Service" might be just the perfect solution.
"For guests who cannot come to library to access books, films or other records not available online, we will be offering a free look-up service. If you provide the title or call number of the book, along with the page numbers to have copied, if known, we will email you a PDF copy. We ask that you be as specific as possible since we are unable, due to copyright restrictions, to copy a large number of pages from any one book. Please keep in mind that this is not a research service." https://www.familysearch.org/family-history-library/family-history-library-records-look-up-service
