Help needed determining gender
Researching a Helge Olsen b. 1742 in Møre og Romsdal and it may be that it is really Helge Olsdatter.
Christening is https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/15964/85 far left middle 21 July. Parents Ole Arnesen and Anne Jetmundsdr. , matches existing tree for 9K8X-53V. FamilySearch has indexed Helge as male. Is there any indication? I am finding Helge as frequently for females as males in these parts.
Other sources for the parents link them to the farm Rostad. Searching the parish book I found Helge Olsdatter Rostad confirmed in 1762 at https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/15964/34 and Helge Olsdatter Rostad deceased age 27 1/2 in 1770 at https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/15965/120
My efforts are aimed at proving Helge in Hjorundfjord is not the Helge Olsen in Finnmark.

The transcriber does say this Helge is female, but gives completely different parents than those you list. I looked at the Family Tree record and saw your note about the distance between the birth place and the christening place. I would say two different Helges got confused here.

The birth/christening record does not indicate whether Helge is male or female (that I can tell).
I did find the family in a farm book for Hjørundfjord that is available on Family Search Catalog. The family is mentioned in the right column at the bottom under the "A" and continues to the next page.
The last 2 lines mention "Helge(a) born 1742 and 'teken av Otòla nyårsdag (New Years Day) 1770'". I am not exactly sure what that means, but New Years Day 1770, was the date that, according to the death record you supplied, Helge Olsdatter was drowned along with 26 other people. The last two lines also say that "Of 10 children, 4 grew up" and then it lists them. It also mentions that Ragnild (b. 1746) and Arne (b. 1751) "like eins", which I think means that they died at the same time.
I am going to tag @Liv Anderson2 to see if she can be of help with the farm book. She is Norwegian and has many insights to these kinds of question. I am going to also ask that she look at the death record to see if the Arne Olsen and Ragnild Olsdatter are the same as those mentioned in the second page of the farm book.
I will also try attach screenshots of the farm book pages, just in case they are not available to you.

I forgot to mention in my first answer that you should keep in mind that farm books are "secondary" sources and, hence, should be relied upon for information only if other "primary" sources are not available. Usually you would find the information in the farm book and then search for the primary sources. This time, however, you have already found the primary sources and the farm book supports that information.
As far as the transcription of the birth/christening record, I think that the transcription is incorrect. In the birth/christening record, the father is Ole ______sen but the mother is definitely Anne Jetmundsdatter. Several of the witness in the birth/christening record are also in the transcription: Peder Persen, Randi Larsdatter, ______ Jetmundsdatter, and Anne ______datter

Do I understand from the farmbook page that Ole Arnesen remarried in 1766 to Lisbet Botolfsdatter? She is not named with the large group of victims but she may be the one at the top of the next page of the register,

Ole was from Ytre-Bø which may match the place name on his marriage record, Ole Arnesen Bøve? So the original Ole in FS has the wrong parents, in Sunnylven? Thank you.

You are correct! Ole Arnesen married Lisbet Botolfsdatter in 1766 according to the farm book. I looked in the parish engagement/marriage records, but couldn't find them there-they were probably married in a neighboring parish. And I believe that she is the name at the top of the page in the record of the deaths for 1770. I believe her death (or burial) date is 19 November 1770.
The farm book also records that "of 10 children, 4 grew up", so there are 6 other children that should be accounted for in the birth records. They could be still-born or simply died very young.
