How can I find more info on this issue?
I’m in search of my Father’s biological family. My father, William Charles Augustus Webster was adopted as a young boy and raised in many Foster Homes until he was 8 or 9 years old. Dr. Charles Webster and his wife Martha took him in to raise as their own, the Webster’s never completed his adoption papers. He grew up in Philadelphia, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. My father wrote to the Pennsylvanian Orphanage and they would not give him any information. My father never found his biological parents before he passed away. In 2009 I applied for some information from the adoption agency of Southwest Pennsylvania and got a starting point. We received a birth certificate: born June 6, 1925, his name was William Knite, mother Susan Knite (Knute)(Knuth) and his father Leroy Kelley. We have searched a long time with no answers. My brother (Kevin Webster) and I did a DNA and we are in hopes to finish what their father set out to find. I hope you can help.
Thank you,

I would be glad to try to help sort out your DNA results. Hopefully you DNA tested with Ancestry, since it has the largest database and sharing DNA results is fairly easy. You can contact me at bryajw2@hotmail.com if you want my help.

Thank you for your reply. Our DNA results have come back and we have found some Family around the area of my dad's birth. Of course those members don't have any info other than they knew that their Great Aunt and or Aunt had a baby that was put up for adoption. Other problems, some of the DNA family don't want anything to do with answering any questions about the past. Thank you again for getting back with us.

Again, I would be glad to take a look. It appears that you may have already found the parents of William Charles Augustus Webster. Let me know if you would like a second set of eyes to look at the DNA results.
