Good morning, I am searching for a death for my grandfather's brother, Andrew Basala , likely in Wa
See the collaborate section on what I have tried and questions for myself so I don't forget. So, is the only way to approach this to be the death certificate? I do have a bit more than the no official information on his wife, but it does not help. I was looking for where she was buried or church records. Her name was Anna Basala ID GM66-CFD. See the collaborate tab for her also. Maybe if I could locate anything on her cemetery or church I could find him. Please advise.
Thank you for your time.

As I am looking at your information on Anna:
She immigrated alone or with a sibling? Do you have the immigration information for Anna? Did she become a Naturalized Citizen? If so her Naturalization Records would be of great help to your research.
She Married in Maine, and I see there is no death date for Andrew. Have you located a Probate record for him? As she may have lived after his death is there a Probate record for her?
Anna is buried in Highland Park, is Andrew buried there as well? Or in another Cemetery in the same town? By religious affiliation? Civic/Service club?
I'm sorry to have so many questions, though you may just want to order the death certificate with the understanding that the person who filled it out may have had little or no information to add to the certificate. Michigan seems to be not as helpful as they only have free information to 1897. Though I did find this, where it states anyone can look up a death certificate. Don't use the box, click on the Death Records Online in red and search there. Wishing you well as you search!
