So, no Quattrocchis born in Canicatti in 1881. But here (bottom right) is Giuseppe Quattrocchi born in Canicatti 13 Dec 1880. His parents are Achille Quattrocchi and Calogera Lena.

The Italian records are generally not computer-indexed so you can't enter a name in a search box and get results.You have to go to the folder for the specific town and the specific year and look through the images.

 

1820-1865 records are on Antenati

My grandfather, Giuseppe Quattrocchi, was born in Canicatti, Sicily on Dec. 13, 1881 and my grandmother, Maria Antonia Di Francesco was born in Agrigento, Sicily on May1, 1888.

 

 

I have no information about any of their Sicilian relatives.

I see from Maria Antonia's 1916 immigration record that she was already married and brought an infant daughter with her, so I would assume they married in the 1913-1915 time frame.

 

Agrigento city records are a bit of a mess; I wasn't able to find her birth. I looked in this collection:
