Help with translating end comments on exam record
Family of Peter Carlsson. He has died. Daughter Kajsa is listed as hustra but no husband shown. Son Wilhelm and daughter Erika. Erika dies. What does it say about Maria and Kajsa at end of line? And where did Samuel move to in 34? Thank you much. Deniese

I am not sure what it says at the end of line, something happened at 1836.
But Kajsa Greta married 11 March 1834 Johan Sjöström

I believe it reads that Samuel moves to Kråksmåla.
The note for Maria reads something like: "at/with widow Maria (something) Kaisa Greta.
I think the note for Kaisa Greta says: wife Kaisa Greta (was) legally separated (s:kild-abbreviation for 'särskild') from her man (husband) in 1836.

The svar record 1844-48 pg 314 shows mother Maria, daughter Kajsa, son Wilhelm sjostrom, and son Frans Oscar. Frans shows as illigitimate. Would you read this as his father not same as wilhelm's father?

I would say so, yes. Have you looked at Frans Oscar's birth record? It may list his father.

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but it looks like Wilhelm and Frans Oskar have changed their surnames to Sjögren in the Karlskrona household records. See here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0057873_00496#?c=&m=&s=&cv=495&xywh=24%2C1933%2C2903%2C1435 .

Norm- the last record I have of Wilhelm and Frans Oscar is household record 1844-48 pg 314 Algutsboda. There names are crossed out but nothing saying moved or died. Using info you found I went through Algutsboda moving lengths in that time frame but did not find either boy. Then I went to Karlskrona moving lengths and there are no records for that time frame. How did you find them in Karlskrona? I see their name change. Is that because they both entered military and given new soldier name?? Thank you much. Deniese

One of the benefits of using Arkivdigital, is that all of the household records in the entire country between 1860 and 1947 are indexed! You can do an "Index" search of the 1860-1947 household records, and put in a name and birthdate, and you will get a list of everyone in the household records for that time period. It makes it really simple to find anyone as long as: (1) you know the birthdate listed in the HHR (not always the same as as the actual birthdate) and (2) the name matches. I simply did a search with the birthdate on the records we already had and combinations of Per, Pehr, & Munter. There were some results of the same person with the name spelled Munther.
As to why their names were changed from Sjöström to Sjögren, I can't say.
Sorry about the part above about Munter!! That was someone else I have been working on! But the method of finding people is the same. Just put in a birthdate and name (first and/or last) and you should get information that is helpful.

The index search should find anyone who was in the household records in Sweden between 1860 and 1947 regardless of when they were born. Many people born in the last half of the 18th century are in the HHR. You may have to be creative with the search parameters, however. Searching with less information will get more results. For instance, with just a first or last name and a birthdate. If the records aren't exactly what you think they should be, you may not get any results. And be sure to select "Population of Sweden 1860-1947" in the "Index Search" tab .
