Suggestions on finding person
Martina immigrated in1884 to U.S.. 1st marriage to John Vadman. His obit lists her name as Martina Nelson. 1900 census shows her and her parents- Henry L Nelson and Sophia Nelson. All born in Sweden. I am thinking while in Sweden exam records and other vital records Henry was likely Henry Nilsson. I do not know what Henry would translate to as Swedish name. I have martina's birth date. I am not finding any matches in1880- 1900s exam records. Also not finding them in parish where martina's husband lived. TIA for any suggestions on how to proceed. Deniese

Henry would have been something like Henrik / Henric / Hendric /Hendrich. First one most likely and last one is the oldest form.
