Tanner, thank you for your help. On the matter of Johan Emil how did you know to find him on page 230? In the next set of exams, vol 22 pg 232 he is shown to move to America. Can you tell me what the 6 is at very end of line? Any suggestions on how to follow persons that emigrated? Final question- on Carl Edward you say parish split and he stayed in Degefors. I went on to 1886-91 records and looked through all 4 volumes. North south east west. But Degefors is not listed on register of any. Where should I be looking? After the split is Degefors not in Karlskoga? Thank you so much.

Thank you Heidi. I understand now that Degefors became its own parish. Or at least a portion of it.

Concerning, Johan Emil I searched for him on ArkivDigital. They have indexed all of the Swedish household examination rolls from 1860-1948 as well as some later ones as well. I found him in that index then gave you the reference.
Yes, Degerfors split off from Karlskoga and became its own separate parish.

Thank you for your response. Would be nice if I had access to Arkive but have managed with Riksarkivet. Heidi K. sent me a link for Degefors and then I figured that one out. Thanks again.
