When did Sweden switch from using the father's first name as the basis of the child's last name to a more Western standardized approach to the surname?

At the end of 1800's some children started to take their fathers patronymic as their last name. Until 1966 people had the possibility use patronymics. At 1901 came an act how last name should be given. Those who did not yet have last name, should use their father's name + son (patronymic for son). Until 1904 people had freedom to choose their family name.
