Looking for my Great Great Maternal Grandparents who I believed died in Mayaguez. His name was Juan Ramon Vazqueztellez/Vazquez Tellez and migrated from Venezuela. His wife was Leonor Glorot who was from France.

Sorry for late reply. My Great Father Tulio Vazqueztellez y Vazquez was born May 11th 1866 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. I do not his have birth certificate. He died in New York City. I do not have any other dates for either Juan Ramon or Leonor. Don Tulio's children's birth certificates indicate that he (Juan Ramon or Leonor) was a photographer. Thank you for getting. back to me. @James A. Knowles​  You will also want to go to the Parish. FamilySearch does not have the Catholic Church records from Mayagüez. This means that you have to go to, or have someone else visit, the parish in Mayagüez. Civil Registration records do not exist prior to 1885 so you have to rely on the Catholic Church records. You will not find any birth certificates before that date, you will only have baptisms.
