Translation of Birth Record
I found a birth record for Halvor Taralsden. Parents are Tarald Olsen and Maret Halvorsdatter in Romo, Sunndal, More og Romsdal.
- I'm working to track down Halvor's parents. Can someone tell me what farm name are the parents from so it can lead me to find records on the parents?
- Does it say anything if the parents were married or unmarried for the birth to help me track down the marriage record?
- Anything else important on this record?

The child Halvor, is illegitimate. I believe both parents are from Øvre Nesja, Romfo, Sundalen. Father Ole Taraldsen of Gravem, Knud Gjeld ditto. Gabriel Hoff ditto. Maret Gjøra ??? Helg Wolland ditto. It is the 2nd transgression for the father and the 1st for the mother. Sorry that is the best I can do. Gjøra is a farm in Romfo, also Gravem, and Nesja øvre.

I thought the parents are Tarald Olsen and Maret Halvorsdatter. Am I looking at the wrong column? I see right of Tarlad Olsen and Maret Halvorsdatter is Old Tarald and Maret, but which one is the parents in this record, 1. Tarald Olsen and Maret Halvorsdatter or 2. Ole Taraldsen and Maret Halvorsdatter?
Thanks!

@Gordon Collett would be an excellent person to ask about this record.

The 1821 marriage is for Ole Tharaldsen b. 1785, 36 years old, residing in Leagild. He is marrying Maret Knudsdatter b. 1791, residing in Giøra. https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/327/pv00000009963143?fbclid=IwAR3vdSI3A4LCktEbvpTvnN9jdtxDUvpVMlue2hOq2TJd_5M-p7nXgaRhZOo

First a request. When posting links to parish records, please always use the Quick Link which brings one to the full web page with complete controls including full zooming and the ability to move forward and back in the records rather than the Permanent Image Link which is just the image in two sizes.
For the particular page you posted, the Quick Link is: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20070914630234
I'm afraid the best I can do is:

–––––––––––
14.
14 June 1823
Halvor, illegitimate
Ratified home baptism July 6th 1823
Tarald Olsen ? at Øverneschia and maiden Maret Halvorsdatter ibid
Ole Taraldsen Graven ?, Kund Gjeldsen ditto, Gabriel Hoffe ditto, Maret Gjora tenant farmer’s wife, Helg Wollandsdatter ditto
His 2nd, her 1st unlawful conduct
I agree with Shari that Øverneschia is today's Øvre Nesja if that is how it is currently spelled. However the record says nothing about where either parent is from. It only states where they are currently living. I don't see where it says father in front of Ole Taraldsen Graven, I think Shari's eyes skipped a column. However, based on names There is probably a good chance that Ole is Tarald's father, that is the grandfather of the child. Again, Graven is where he is currently living, not necessarily where he was born or where Tarald was born. The word I can't make out that I think starts with ej... is Tarald's and most of the witnesses' occupation or status in life. The record does tell you that Ole has another illegitimate child somewhere with a different mother.
