One Danish marriage and one death record needing help
Questions about the bondsman for the 1771 marriage record of Soren Iversen from Vong and Ane Jensdatter of Allerup: Søren's father is Iver Pedersen, so I believe the note references him. However, I thought "H.S." translates to "his son," but then is it saying that his son is the miller? What are the words to the right of the word møller? What does "Hom." stand for? Sneum Parish, Ribe p. 55, Rigsarkivet (https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?epid=17126544#169472,28458793)Can I get a translation on cause of death in the record below? It seems there are many variations on the root of the word meaning weakness! Also, the notes seem to be referencing probate in June 1895- am I missing anything else of importance? Thank you!! 1771 marriage record:
- What looks a bit like "H.S." is actually "A.S." (compare with "Anders Andersen," second marriage on the left-hand page). It may be his given names, abbreviated (his name may be something like Anders Søren).
- I see what is written after his name as "aalbech Moll.," which is likely indicating "Aalbæk Møllegaard," a place in Vester Nykirke parish (the same parish where Vong is located).
- The way "Hom." is being used here, I think it's just indicating "Mr." (see linked).
1895 death record:
- Niels Larsen died at age 77 on 29 May 1895 in Briksbøl, Skast parish, Skast hundred; he was buried under supervision of the parish priest on 6 June 1895 in Skast cemetery in Skast parish, Skast hundred; he was a retired man in Briksbøl and a son of farmer Lars Nielsen Møller and Ane Kirstine Hansdatter in Tjæreborg; he was born in that same place [Tjæreborg] on 25 July 1817, was married the first time with Ane Hansen of Allerup [possibly the one in Sneum parish, but there are multiple places called Allerup], and was married the second time with Kirsten Marie Jensen of Briksbøl.
- The notes column states that his Ligsynsattest (coroner's certificate) was dated 2 June 1895 and his Skifteretsattest (probate court certificate) was dated 1 June 1895.
