Help with a possible merge, please.
So there is a possible duplicate for Jacob Olaus Petersen Aursnes 29HC-CKB, and his wife Thomasine Marte Emanuelsdatter ML41-ZFZ. It is from an indexed marriage record that is only at the Family History Library on Microfiche. The wife's name is similar to my record, the husband's surname is different and the date is one month off. The possible duplicates are Jakob Olaus Olssen MXNF-V55 and Tomasine Marta Emanuelsdatter MXNF-VRW.
I found in the Norwegian Digital Archives an official marriage record with the same names, and date as are in my file. I also found a copy parish record with the same wife, but a different date. The official date is 12 June 1842, the copy record date looks like 12 July 1842. The marriage is not listed in the Curates record for verification. The father's names, farm names, and ages of the bride and groom are the same in both records. It's the groom's surname in the offical record is Petersen, in the copy it is Olssen(?). So I think this could be the record that the possible duplicate in family search is from.

What do you think, is this the same couple? In the copy is the surname of the groom Petersen or Olssen? And shouldn't it be Petersen if the official record says Petersen? Should I merge them? and which marriage date should I use if I do merge them?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, merge them both. That klokkerbøker entry has pretty horrible handwriting and the patronymic is so squeezed in between the Olaus and the farm name that it's really tough. I do see where the transcribers came up with Olsen but it really looks like the copier missed Jakob and Thomasine's marriage as he was copying then had to add them lower in the list and that's where he made the mistake with the month. Take a look at other entries on the page to see how this guy wrote Peter. Wicked tough to transcribe these pages I would say.
