I would love a little help figuring out what other information I can get from this record.
This record is for ID# LCVW-8MJ. The date is 18 February 1802, for birth and death. Also, I can see the parent names, Soren Oleson and Kirsten Rasmusdatter. Is this child a male? Is there another child born the same day? In his profile on family search he has a twin sister.
The record is found here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-894W-B4KC?i=346&cc=2078555

Thank you so much in advance!

I really can't read those entries very well but it looks to me like there was just one still born child.
So the child is entered in both the birth and death columns.
I can't see where it says whether this was a male or female child but I think the two entries in the Tree are just two interpretations of that same line in the records. FamilySearch transcribers decided the child was male so the sex is probably there somewhere. And the date is the 18th not the 8th.
Personally I would merge K6QG-HT2 into and keep the data for LCVW-8MJ
It's your call but it's a pretty safe merge considering both persons entered were stillborn and not christened.

The gender (drange = male) is seen here twice, and then again on the death entry. It is important to know that the Scandinavia definition of stillborn could include children that lived some period of time, but not given a name.

Thank you, Shari! I would never have been able to pick that out, but maybe now, I will have an easier time! The handwriting really throws me off, even if I could read Danish! I appreciate your help.

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was wondering about! If someone could have entered a female for the same information as someone else entered a male. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at it for me!
