I can't find a birth record for Bengt Andersson born in 1708 Tämta, Alvsborg in 1708. Parents Anders Larsson and Ingeborg Bengtsdotter- married April 19, 1708. Most of my problem is reading the handwriting. Can you help?

Here is a possibility. This first attachment is a family tree from Disbyt. It says Bengt was born in 1710. I looked this up and I found only one Bengt born in 1710, attached. I can't read the parents in this record but it says they are from östra Nap.? and the first household record for that parish doesn't start until 1736 but the parents are still alive in Ostra Nap and their names are Anders Larsson and Ingeborg. Take a look

Hi, and thank you for your reply. On the Disbyt information it shows the parents born in 1708, and their son born in 1710. Obviously that can't happen, so I am wondering is there another couple with the same names born around 1680-1690?

The G stands for gift which means marriage. They were married in 1708. Also on the household record the other children match the disbyt family. Do you have those same siblings?

Hi - I didn't catch the "g" but probably wouldn't have figured that out without you telling me! I don't have the other siblings on my tree. I try to solve the parents after the child "Bengt" who is on the tree. I have to agree the language is a barrier for me interpreting the records. I am getting better but the older script is a challenge to figure out! Thank you for clarifying!
