I am trying to establish the relationship of Maria Johanna van Griensven listed on the family regist
She is listed with the family at
Brabant Historical Information Centre in Brabant, Population register
Bron: boek, Part: 0005, Period: 1880-1894, Nuland, access code 7340, inventory number 0005, Bevolkingsregister A-M, folio 207
She is also listed (Johana Maria van Griensven) listed with the family of Cornelis de Wit and Anna Maria van Meurs
Brabant Historical Information Centre in Brabant, Population register
Bron: boek, Part: 0007, Period: 1894-1917, Nuland, access code 7340, inventory number 0007, Bevolkingsregister N-Z, folio 187 (it looks to me like she is a room renter on this sheet)
Thanks for your help

Kay, can you post a link to the images themselves, there are so many people with that name; like here
https://www.bhic.nl/memorix/genealogy/search/persons?ss={"q":"maria johanna van griensven"}
Just cut/copy/paste to this chatbox.

Kay and Fritz,..
The term is "bestedeling" sometimes written as besteedeling or specific for females
bestedeling(e).
A "Bestedeling" is a person who is in poverty, need , without means to live, without
roof, without parental care, or, for example, a woman with a child from an unknown father.Could also be an orphan that was pregnant, or an old spinster...
Most of them were placed in the care of better family's, or farmers with a lot of work
and food in stock. Notably, some rich farmers had sometimes up to 10 'bestedelingen'
in their care.
Most of them were placed under the umbrella of the R K Diakonaat, altough some were handed over by the municipality or the poorhouses.
You can find a good example of the term on page 65 of the same catalogue, line 5
Bit of a difficult read --

In your second image, Maria Johanna van Griensven is person 5; I agree that here, her relationship is listed as kostganger (boarder). And I agree with Adrien that the term in the first image is bestedeling (I read it as bestedelig but did not know what it might mean)--the definition Adrien provided fits with what I found out:
I wondered if she might have been adopted since all the others on the page are related. So I searched for her 5 Nov 1889 birth record (https://www.openarch.nl/bhi:854145a2-7048-cdcd-c648-cea93fba2b80) and found her parents' names: Petrus van Griensven and Carolina Maria Wilhelmina Hanegraaf. I then searched for her father's name and looked at the Nuland results, where I found his 31 Dec 1889 death record--i.e., he died just a month and a half after Maria Johanna's birth. I then searched for her mother's name and found her 13 Feb 1891 death--i.e., she died when Maria Johanna was just a year and three months old.

You have a very sharp eye, Charlotte, and indeed , the second entry has her written as "Kostganger"-boarder.
I had found the name of the father, but short of time , i did not complete my query.
The term bestedeling is not rare here, and there are also terms like "Bestedelingenhuis", a euphemism for house of the poor where most of them lived some time before being allocated to a family.Given the short timespan of the parents their deaths it is possible that they fell ill.
