There are two Thomasine on this page, entry #2 and 3. On her marriage record her father is listed as Ole. Is one of the daughters the person, I'm looking for and if so, what are the details. This birth record seems nearly illegible to me. Thanks

Your record (#3) is the birth of Thomasine Marin Olsdatter. Her parents are Ole Rasmussen and Marta Tomasdatter. They are from Nakken, Borglund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. She was born 21 October 1844 and christened 1 Jan 1845.

Thank you so much. All I had was her marriage record with ages on it and her daughter’s birth record with her age. I guessed at the 1844. I looked through from 1843-1845. I found her husband but had a really hard time figuring out this record. I thought one of these two Tomasines had a Father named Ole. Thanks again for your quick response. Does this seem like the record that I needed? Did I find the right Tomasine Olsdatter?

I am sure that this is the correct Thomasine Olsdatter. Four things line up in the marriage record and the birth record: 1) her name; 2) her father's first name; and 3) her age; 4) the farm name, Nakken, connected with her father. The thing that makes me sure that she is the person you are looking for is the fact that her first daughter, Olivie Caroline Martinusen-MX8R-43Z, is born in Nakken, Borgund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway.
