Which group handles New Jersey research?

@Dik Thurston I was surprised myself that there was neither a state-specific group for New Jersey, nor a region group that seemed to cover it - just states around NJ. I'd strongly recommend going to the New Jersey FamilySearch Wiki page if you haven't already been there. It could take most of a lifetime to go through all the resources they provide there, yet the Wiki pages are laid out in a very orderly manner. Just click on the link above for the New Jersey FamilySearch Wiki page.
If you merely type in "New Jersey" (without quotes, of course) in the Wiki search page, you'll also find a number of additional New Jersey pages broken down into specific topics (many of which are listed in the above general New Jersey Wiki page).
Hope that help.

The other option is the catch-all group - United States Research - to cover states that are not otherwise covered. The creation of groups here is driven by requests and the willingness of someone to moderate the group (be the group leader).

I think Delaware and Maryland could be combined into the same group. Being adjacent there is probably a lot of people with ancestors from both states. New Jersey is much larger than both those states together with 10 million people and a group could be developed there.
