Swedish Estate Record Help
Two parts of an estate record below (Stora Mellösa, Örebro, Fll:3. p 170 to 173) is for Jan Nilsson, died 10 September 1810. His wife Kerstin, as noted, survived him. Does anything here say who the guardians are and what their relationships are to the children and Kerstin? Other than the basics am I missing anything of importance in the translation?

It has been awhile since you posted this. Sorry to just get to it now. The estate inventory was held on 17 September, 1810 at Åkerby for Jan Nilsson who died on 10 September. The surviving widow is Kirstin Nilsdotter and 3 sons and 2 daughters. Then the scribe went back and wrote in their names Nik. (maybe short for Niklas or a squished in Nils?), Jan, Anders, Maia, and Kirstin. The sentence finishes by stating they will inherit as recorded in the following way. Then you get the inventory until page 173. Bottom left on 173 shows the widow Kirstin Nilsdotter was present and has her intials KN. The men helping with assessment were Pet. (although t not crossed) Persson, Anders Andersson, and Jan Persson. Values were determined and written up by Nils Ersson. It was recorded with the court 30 Sept. 18(10). The page on the right is a list of debts. There are no stated relationships on the list of debts to be paid.
It's interesting that the preamble is so short and does not mention guardians to protect the rights of the children. The family was doing well. Maybe there are other supplemental documents in the domböcker from when the estate inventory was submitted to the court. ArkivDigital has some Domböcker in the early 1700's for Askers häradsrätt and a lot of them after 1857. The 1810 volume has not been digitally published on FamilySearch or Riksarkvet. Normally, you can order the volume to be digitized by ArkivDigital but the service has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
