What Swedish database would show emigration information?
I am looking for the emigration record from Sweden to America in 1882 for Fred Sandberg + Bertha Anderson and their six children. The 1900 U S census say they arrived here 8 years previously. They are living in Chicago, Ill. I want to know where they were from in Sweden in order to access their parish records. Thank you.

Does this look like the correct family for you? I realize the names don't match exactly but the names of the children and birth dates match the FamilySearch children. This is found on Ancestry.com for Sweden, Emigrants Registered in Church Books. https://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=SwedishEmigrantIndex&indiv=try&h=416281

This looks like it could be the family you are looking for. It appears that Fredrick Sandberg goes to America in 1889 and the rest of the family in 1892 (lines 3-11): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0020693_00067#?c=&m=&s=&cv=66&xywh=87%2C120%2C6733%2C3538 .
This record gives dates and places of birth for all members of the family.
Kudos to Shari for finding the emigration record!!

Thank you @Norm Baker for helping out with the Swedish record. It's always great to see the name of a friend.

Thank you Norm. Yes this is the correct family and I have a number of questions. I am totally new to Swedish records. Their son b. 17 May 1889 is known as Morris Sandberg in America. Is his name in Sweden Anders Magnus odopl? What does it say in the comments for the line on Maria Charlotta AAnderson? Can you tell me the places the children are born? I'm not sure what they are. Again, thank you so much for this info.

Yes, Morris is Anders Magnus in the Swedish Household record. The word after his name is odöpt = not christened. If you are interested in learning more about Swedish research, the FamilySearch wiki is a very helpful tool. https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Sweden_Genealogy
You can also look for more information and see records in FamilySearch for free.

Alright, let's see if we can answer your questions!
Shari Duce answered the first one-Anders Magnus was not christened. According to the note on the right side of the page he wasn't baptized by the time the family left for North America-if I am reading it correctly.
The comments for Maria Charlotta Andersdotter say that she is married to Fredrick Sandberg who moved to North America on 1 July (1889). The second note says that Maria Charlotta and the children left for North America on 13 May 1892.
As for birthdates and places, this is what the record says (keep in mind that household records are secondary sources for births, deaths and marriages, so errors can creep in!):
Fredrick Sandberg was born 7 March 1854 in Fägred (aka Fägre), Skarborg, Sweden.
Maria Charlotta Andersdotter was born 23 March 1856 also in Fägred (Fägre), Skaraborg, Sweden.
Karl Olof was born 30 July 1879 in Mo, Älvsborg, Sweden.
Johan Viktor was born 14 March 1881 in Eling, Skaraborg County, Sweden.
Anna Maria Ingeborg was born 14 May 1883 in Herrljunga, Älvsborg, Sweden.
Sven Filip was born 28 February 1885 in Herrljunga, Älvsborg, Sweden.
Eva Albertina was born 28 March 1887 in Källunga, Älvsborg, Sweden.
Anders Magnus was born 17 May 1889, aslo in Källunga, Älvsbory Sweden.
Källunga parish birth records are in Skölvene parish books.

Thanks you so much again. I did try the wiki as Shari suggested, but was not getting anywhere very fast. Wishing the family history library would open again.
