Is there a way to access records from the Vaasa region of Finland, specifically Lappfjard, from afte
My great grandfather, his siblings, and parents are living on Hinders farm in Lappfjard up through 1893. (it is likely the family moved to Bjormans farm before 1907). My GG immigrated to the US in 1907 and one of his brothers followed in 1910. We have a mystery brother who shows up in a picture with the other two, but I have been unable to locate any information or records for him. It is likely he would have been born somewhere around 1895 or so. There is a family story that this particular brother was disowned for marrying an "Indian Princess." No idea what that is supposed to mean.

Hello, Lappfjärd parish records are available after 1893. Communion books are to 1903, births are to 1907 and deaths are to 1910.
These records can accessed through www.sukuhistoria.fi but they are only for members of FFHA. The membership fee is not great, but if you just need to look for couple records, I can do that. Just give me the information or FamilySearch Family Tree person ID.

- Citation: Lapväärtin seurakunnan arkisto - Rippikirja 1894-1903, page 113: Lappfjärd by No 6 Hinders
- No other children were born.
- Father Johan Josef Andersson moved to Amerika 1896 and died in Amerika 10 Jan 1903
- Mother Matilda with children Karl Henrik and Josef Felix can be found in new book page 118 (it is not yet available)

- Johan Josefsson Björman died in a hospital in Worcester, Mass, Am, from lung decease (possibly tuberculosis).
- Charles Henry Bearman's birth name was Carl Henrik Johansson
