jesse wallace gardnerjborn29 jan 1933
He was born in Los Angeles to Jesse Wallace Gardner and Otheal Putnam. I am unable to find any other info other than his birth. Parents broke up shortly after.
I checked census and he doesn't appear with his mother. Jesse Wallace Gardner Sr. married my mother in early 1940s. Both are now deceased . My sister who is 77 and myself, 73, never knew much. except my father had a son. My father died before I was born so we knew nothing. I hope he is still living but he would be older than my sister and I. I do have a copy of my brother's birth certificate and he was born alive. Thank you,

@cynthia cole you may want to do a search in familytreenow.com, peoplefinder.com, or verified.com or similar site.

Sweetcindy70, have you tried searching for your brother though DNA? You might find a match to his DNA, or you might match one of his descendants. This might be the fastest way to find out what happened to him. Ancestry DNA has the largest database.
Feel free to ask questions about how to understand your DNA results after testing.

Hi Carolyn,, I have done a DNA test yet I cannot figure it all out. Most of matches seem to have different names. Im not sure who I would be speaking with. If you could give me hints on how to find or start finding my brother's family I would greatly appreciate it. My DNA test was through Ancestry.
Thank you Carolyn.

If you have any matches in your DNA that have 1500 cm or more & usually say "Close family- 1st cousin" beside their name
I would start with them
If he was adopted he will not have the same name
You could try adoption agencies in Los Angeles/California to see if you can get info
