.
Where are you seeing this?
Can you provide a "Screenshot"?
.
Here are two (x2) "Screenshots" below, the first is the "Temple" Work for a Child (under 8) that has been "Completed"; and, the second is the "Temple" Work for a Child (under 8) that has I have recently "Reserved".
.
Completed
.
.
Reserved
.
.
In both the above cases the "Sealing to Spouse" IS "Cannot Request - Not Available".

@M Reeves
.
I could not immediately find a Child under 8 whose "Temple" Work had not been, "Completed"; or, "Requested", in my Ancestral lines ...
.
So, in the "Beta" ("Test") "Environment" of "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', I "Created" a Child under 8 whose "Temple" Work was available to "Request" ...
.
Like the above/previous examples, here is a "Screenshot" (below) of the "Temple" Work for a Child (under 8) that is available to request ...
.
.
Once, again, as in the above/previous examples, in this case the "Sealing to Spouse" IS "Cannot Request - Not Available".

Yes, that is what I am getting. Why is it yellow similar to the "Needs More Information" ordinances vs the Grey "Not Needed"?

FYI
.
The "Colour" (ie. "Legend") Scheme for "Temple" Work has been CHANGED.
.
Previously, there was x8 (really x9) "Colour" states for the 'Status' of "Temple" Work.
.
Previous "Colour" (ie. "Legend") Scheme
.
.
For whatever reason, 'FamilySearch' felt/considered that there were too MANY states for the 'Status' of "Temple" Work; and, so, unfortunately, reduced the number.
.
Now, there are ONLY x4 "Colour" states for the 'Status' of "Temple" Work.
.
A lot of Member Users/Patrons, were; and, are (still), concerned with the change.
.
This was the first iteration of the changed "Colour" (ie. "Legend") Scheme:
.
.
This is the latest/current iteration of the changed "Colour" (ie. "Legend") Scheme:
.
.
Just three (x3) of the reasons that Member Users/Patrons, were; and, are (still), concerned with the change are:
.
(1) Work that is "Share[d] with the Temple" is now NOT easily distinguishable from Work that which can be "Requested" (ie. available to "Request).
.
(2) Many Member Users/Patrons are getting on and their eye sight is failing, making is harder to distinguish between the colours.
.
(3) A number of Member Users/Patrons are colour blind, making it very difficult to distinguish between the states.
.
Here is a CURRENT "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
.
What do the different temple icons and statuses mean?
.
By the way, have you noticed that we can now, "Request"; and, "Reserve", any Work that is "Share[d] with the Temple System" [subject to the 110 year Rule and "Permission Required"] - we no longer have to request such be transferred from, the ORIGINAL "Reserver"; or, "FamilySearch' through a 'Support' Case.

What happens to ordinances when I share them with the temple?
.
Where it states
Quote
----------
Shared ordinances can be reserved by other members of the Church up until the time that the temple prints the family name card. At that, it is no longer available to reserve. These secondary reservations expire in 90 days, at which point the ordinance is returned to the temple.
.
As long as the temple hasn't printed the name card or another person hasn't reserved the ordinance, you can unshare the ordinance at any time.

I hope this helps.
