Which name is correct?
On the birth record her name is shown as Brita Stina , born 18 April 1801 in Floda, Södermanland, Sweden. On all the household records I have found it is shown as Maja Stina. Which is the correct name? I usually go by the birth record but I am not sure that is the correct way to go this time.

We are humans and clergy at those days were humans and all humans make mistakes some time.
This is my opinion: I would use Maja Stina as her primary name, because it is used every time after her birth record, but add Brita Stina into Other Information section as her Birth Name and then some explanation.
