Norway death records, Johannes Bjørnsen civil standing
Entry 48, shows Johannes Bjørnsen was a widower and Futers? at the time of his death in 1878. Need help reading, and or understanding "Futers".

I believe the word is "inderst". In the Norwegian word list ( https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Norwegian_Genealogical_Word_List#I ) an "inderst" is a person who rented a room from others and had his own household.

You are correct. It is indeed Inderst. I didn't recognize it until you pointed it out to me. Thanks so much for your help. You have a sharp eye. Inderst literally translates to "innermost" and according to my cousin referenced the fact that it meant someone renting the innermost place.
