I have a couple translation questions and a research question.
1) In the Stange Parish (Stange, Hedmark. Norway) Baptism Record for Julia (number 8, born 29 January 1874, daughter of Johan Jensen and Eli Johansdatter) found in the Digital Archive at https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/8857/112. Could you please translate the words under the column Om og af hvem hjemmedøbt. I think that is
stating that she might have been christened at home? There is a copy of the parish record at https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9121/110. 2) I found Julie Johansdatter in the 1891 Census at https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/52729/4811. What do items 10 and 11 say and what do the entries mean? And lastly, when Julie was 20 or 21, she moved out of Stange to go Kristiania (Oslo) see https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/3571/203. She is number 1 listed under 1897, but I think the notation means she really left in 1895. Can you please give me suggestions as to what records to look for Julie in Oslo. I have come up with a dead end on tracing her life. Thank you for help me with this research.

For the first item it looks like she was christened at home by Martha Andersdatter
The second item :
#10 For those in independent or subordinate position/profession: economic sector ( full or part-time) and position in the same. Full time is underlined. She is in the category Tj short for Tjeneste, meaning servant, as also underlined in #8 in the printed text above stating in what position she is to the main person. Position is Stuepige meaning chambermaid.
#11 For those by others wholly or partly supported or dependent. Provider's position: It states Gbr which should be short for Gårdbruker meaning farm owner or farmer.
The third item does indicate that she left in May of 1895.
You could search the 1900 or the 1910 census for her. She is listed as Julie in the moving record but you could search for variations.
By the way, MyHeritage has a member tree showing what became of several of her siblings. You might collaborate with some of the other descendants of this family. For example, one tree shows Inga Pedersen Olstad (born Johannesdatter) Birth Jan 17 1892 with photo and children.
I suppose you have already checked out Stange Bygdebok? It was published in 1946 and is listed on the website for Hedrum Slektshistorielag http://www.hedmarkslekt.no/Bokindex/sbindex.htm.
It does not look at first glance that they were landowners and the book does not list many occupiers of small crofts.
Good luck.

Thank you for the information but I just have more questions. You said she was christened at home by Martha Andersatter. So I have to ask were they not baptized by a member of the Parish clergy? This seems strange. Thanks for the translation of Stuepige. Where did you find the translation? I mostly try Google Translate but that doesn't work for a lot of OLD Norwegian words. Can you suggest a website or book for "old" words.

The person who did the emergency christening could be the midwife or another neighbor present. The priest could not be everywhere at a moments notice. If the child lived they would then make it official in the church at a later date.
If you are looking for translations, there are some Norwegian or Danish sites that do well. Remember that Danish was the language used in the past when Norway was combined with Denmark for a while. So old words are sometimes just Danish words.
You could try https://www.wordhippo.com/ or https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki
