How do I access divorce records? I am looking for a daughter born to Karl Axel Vilhelm Larsson (K2
Axel moves out of Sofia parish 5 Apr 1941 (BIIa:11, page 220). When he arrives in Katarina 7 Apr, the record has Lagen written above Larsson. He changed his name and it references oul. Rgl. Magts. lesliel 2.10.42. I would be interested to find the reason for the name change. I have gone forward to 1947 looking for Signe and the daughter without success. I have also gone backwards to 1935 when Axel and Signe move into Sofia without finding her moving out. Are there other records other than the moving records during this era that would help me locate Signe?

@A Wallace Mitchell So by going into FamilySearch and then using the Search Record component on the right side of the person page, I found the following information information on Ancestry that may be helpful.

The divorce had to be submitted to the city court the Stockholms Magistrat och Rådhusrätt and would be in the judgement books (domböcker). The originals are preserved in the Stockholm city archive but they were not microfilmed or digitized to such a late time period. They are accessible to the reading room at the Stockholm City archive. After 1901 and before 1947 the name change should have been recorded with the Ecklesiastikdepartementet. The records for that office are with Swedish National Archives (Riksarkivet). What records have you been looking in? Have you searched the BiS (Population of Sweden) 1840 - 1947 database on Arkivdigital?
Ancestry has the Sweden, Indexed Death Records, 1840-1942 database on their site. I have access to the Swedish Death Index from home and can run a search if needed.
