I really hate that when I have written a long post and then I manage to destroy it, ok, new try.
Yes, you can use ArkivDigital in FHC. I use Riksarkivet at home because it is free. : https://sok.riksarkivet.se/kyrkoarkiv
Images in ArkivDigital are often better quality because they digitized directly from original books than Riksarkivet which have images from microfilms.
Your (Gustavus Eric) August Carlström LZKG-1P6 was born at 30.12.1858 and baptized 31.12.1858 in Lindberget, Älgarås, Skaraborg, Sweden to Snickare (carpenter) Johan Carlström and Johanna Johansdotter (25 years old). He used name August Carlström when living in Sweden.

Family moved to Fredsberg in 1860
From moving in records you can see that they actually moved to Björkäng (Several parishes had same moving record books)

In that same moving in record it tells the parent names of Johan Carlström (Gustaf Carlström and Maria Andersdotter) and Johanna Johansdotter (Johan Nilsson and Maria Jansdotter)
In Björkäng they lived with Johan Carlström's widowed mother:

When you do research in Sweden please remember to use letters Å,Ä,Ö correctly (Not A,O). Meaning can be totally different with A or Ä.
In old Swedish many times Ä is writen as E e.g. Elgarås=Älgarås
In Sweden not all people had surnames/familynames before 1900. People were called with patronymic (someone's son or daughter). Johanna Johansdotter = Johanna Johan's daughter
Can be abbreviated also Johanna Johansdr
August Carlström (familyname) if we want to call him with patronymic, he would be August Gustafsson (Gustaf's son) because his father was Gustaf Carlström. But in this case they already had familyname, so we don't use patronymic.

Västra Götalands län was established in 1998 and Älgarås, Björkäng, Fredsberg, Skövde and other parishes in that area belonged to Skaraborgs län.
In 1862 Sweden had a municipal reforms that defined new Swedish local governments, called Kommun in Swedish and usually called municipalities in English. Before the 1862 reform, local governments in Sweden were based on church parishes and were integrated with churches. The 1862 reforms included a constitutional change creating secular local governments.

In FT Franklin Edward Carlstrom's (MNHZ-MR8) birth information cannot be true. It says that he was born in 5 October 1868 Iowa, United States, BUT family moved to USA 1869. I believe that he was born in 30.9.1866 in Bjärby, Skövde, Skaraborg, Sweden with birth name Frans Evald : https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0019444_00077

FT is also missing one girl who died at age 1.
Selma Amalia Carlström born 2 Jan 1863 in Bjärby, Skövde, Skaraborg, Sweden and died 10 Jun 1864.

Belongs to two different families. Parents have same names and are born in Sweden about same time BUT other children are different and they clearly belong to two different families. Which is correct family to Hilma? Mother Johanna Johansson seams to be the same BUT she cannot be! Her birth information belongs to Johanna Johansdotter, mother of (Gustavus Eric) August Carlström LZKG-1P6. In Sweden she did NOT have a last name Lundgren.
