Merging with name changes?

Can you update the name to include full names if someone is missing a first or middle name or only has initials? It is only letting me use one or the other, and I can't combine them. Now I have to go back to edit the person with the complete name.

@MDurrant thank you for your feedback :) At this point we are encouraging people to make edits before or after a merge. If we allow changes during merges, it makes it more difficult to go back and understand what happened in the merge.
