I would like a copy of a birth entry in the Ksiegi Metrykalne 1786-1946 Kosciol rzymsko-katolcki P
Kosciol rzymsko-katolcki Parafja Laskowa (Limanowa) held on microfilm at the library in Salt Lake City.
I am a member of Ancestry.com, but it does not have access to this record. The Family search site directs searches to the brick and mortar library.
I live in Washington and do not have the option of traveling to Salt Lake City. I understand the library is closed due to Covid 19. I am hoping there is a way to pay for the search and copy of the document when the library reopens. Thank you for your assistance.

Could you please post the film number and if you have it the frame/record number?

Thank you.
There is no frame/record number that I can find. I believe the reference is for the entire book. The OCLC number is 866724843.
Publication: SLC,UT Genealogical Society of Utah 1997
Physical: na 2 rolkach mikrofilu; 35mm
Ref: (Digit collection) Poland Tarnow Catholic Diocese Church Books 1612-1900.
I found the entry by searching the catalogue for Laskowa Limanowa formerly Galicia.

After I signed in to FamilySearch.org and went to the following link:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/818663?availability=Family%20History%20Library
About have way down the page (under heading NOTES) in RED Letters is:
Poland, Tarnow Roman Catholic Diocese Church Books are available online, click here.
If you don't have that let us know and we will go to plan B

Kris,
I tried to connect at the line "available online, click here." as you suggested. A clock-like indicator appears and it just spins and spins.
I did find the film number 2086916 for Akta Urodzen 1786-1905.
Looking forward to your plan B.
Thank you,
LZal

Clicking on "here" in "Poland, Tarnow Roman Catholic Diocese Church Books are available online, click here." opens:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1985025
See if that direct link will work for you.

Thank you. Still no luck. There is this message
Name index to Roman Catholic baptisms from the Tarnow Diocese in Poland, formerly in Galicia, Austria. The images are not currently available.
I am not sure how to interpret the message.
What images are not available? The index or the image of the birth record?
Does it mean information should appear from the index for the dates I enter on the inquiry (which does not happen.)
Will the images of the birth record be available when the library reopens?
Thank you again.

When I entered just a year, I could see a camera with the results - When I hover my mouse over the camera it says "Image is at a partner site", but does not identify the site. When I click on the "document" icon, it gives a film #. When I check the catalog for the film #, it shows that it is on microfilm - not digitized in FamilySearch.
When I searched "Poland, Tarnow Roman Catholic Diocese Church Books, 1612-1900", multiple options included "Poland Online Genealogy Records" - that page included "Poland, Tarnow Roman Catholic Diocese Church Books, 1612-1900 Name index only".
Back to Kris's plan B!
