Really do not like this new Merge
On the surface, this new merge looked great. But it is unable to handle merges that are not an exact and perfect fit.
When many of us encounter a situation where a merge is needed, its because someone either 1) didn't look in Family Tree to see if a person was already entered, or if someone was added based on something seen in a database.
2) People also get added in multiple times because a transcription wasn't done correctly, or is misread.
If any of the details are off, you are unable to select the good information from the bad information.
Its a great thing when everything lines up. But it's horrible when one of the two profiles is different because of a record error.
