New Change Log Missing Change in Conclusion

Was just starting to do some updating work on a family and wanted to check the history of the name for one of the children since it was changed to a format different from the rest of them since the last time I was here. Opening the name edit box:

I then clicked on See All Changes which opens the Change Log filtered for Name:

There is no Conclusion Updated for the current name. Removing the name filter showed that the name must have been updated during a merge:

I updated her name and the Change Log now looks like this:

There is no way to restore the name I just changed even if I don't have the filter on:

This makes it difficult to evaluate the full history of changes for an item because one has to remember to check not just the filtered change log for the item of interest but also all merges where a change might be hiding under View Merge.
