Heidi- thank you so very much. You answered about 3 or 4 questions. My original question was about finding correct book in Lidköping. Which I still don't know. I could get the right year ranges but all the new town old town land registers city registers???? That was my confusion. The books from Södra Råda just say moved to Lidköping. How do you know where to look? Thank you again. Deniese

When people move to another parish, it is always good to look for movindg records. If you do not know for sure where they moved, moving out record might tell that more clearly.
Moving in records usually tell you where they moved into, e.g. page number / farm.
In this your case Lidköping's moving in record tells you both page number (1742) and house number (153). And how you know what book to look, as you can see, in all those books in same year range, page numbering is continuous from book to book.
