Quick search by name or id of a person in your family group tree
I haven't found a way to do a Quick search by name or id of a person in my family group tree. This should be easy, but I end up just going to the tree view as close as possible to the person I'm trying to get to and then following the tree. If I want to jump to a specific person in my tree, there should be a quick search within the tree. Right not it seems I can just search the entire Family Search tree for closest matches for search for Records, but not just a quick navigation link to the person that I know is in my tree.

You can jump to anyone in your Family Group Tree by clicking on the Private People list. There you can search for anyone in the Family Group Tree (not the deceased ancestors!)

@David Aimone Since I haven't heard back from you about whether the Private People list helps you jump to a known person in your family group tree, I take that to mean that this explanation helped you to do what you wanted, so I am closing this discussion.
