What is the father's name on birth record?
I am looking for Anders Larsen (M51B-DBS). Family history says he was christening 20 December 1795. I found a birth record in 1796 with father Lars and child Anders.
- What is the fathers last name? (I'm looking for Lars Fredriksen to see if this is the correct record in my family)
- IF it is Lars Fredriksen what is the christening date (I'm not good reading the moveable days)? My family history record says it is 20 December 1795.

Jonathan, in reviewing Lars Andersen MXWN-TW6 his birth year is incorrect, it should be 1826. He was 33 years old at his marriage.

Here is the christening for Lars Andersen, note they are using farm names. https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/17016/18. Can you see on the image above in the farmbook, left side the heading "Plasses Svoronøyen", you'll see this farm on the christening record for Lars. His father is listed as Anders Svoronøyen.

Shari, I see you updated Lars Andersen (MXWN-TW6). Thanks! Looks like I uploaded the wrong records. I found a birth http://urn.digitalarkivet.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20070914630311.jpg for Lars on row 8. I use this because family search gave me "Lars Andersen, "Norway Baptisms, 1634-1927" record stating that he was born in 1832. but looks like I have the wrong record now. I will updated his record with the right image.

Shari, I have the same farm book pages! This is where I am getting my information. I use this all the time to get me in the right areas when I am look for birth, marriage, death, etc.. records. I printed a handful of pages at Family History Library before leaving Utah to help me keep going on my family history. I did not notices Ildri was on the left and right page. I only notice the one on the right page.

The Ildri on the left is not the same person. My friend (helper) used a search tool and it highlighted everyone by that name. I made a few changes in FS so as to not lose the information I was told. Hope you don't mind.
