Jewish records in Nagy-Kikinda (Torontál)
These seem to be missing from the FS, yet at the same time, church records exist for this city at FS.
I know that the Jewish records haven't been destroyed because I have contacted the Serbian authorities (http://arhivkikinda.org.rs/contact/) and they confirmed that the Jewish records exist. Unfortunately, they charge an exorbitant fee (50 EUR per certificate) so I decided not to pursue research here.
Is there any reason why FS has selectively not included Jewish records for Nagy-Kikinda?

As far as I know, FamilySearch has never been allowed into either Romania or Serbia. All of the material they have from places that are now in those countries was filmed elsewhere. For example, the RC registers that they have for Nagy-Kikinda were filmed in Stuttgart. They haven't "selectively not included Jewish records" — they also don't have the records from Nagy-Kikinda's Eastern Orthodox church (which in Dvorzsák's time had a congregation half again the size of the Roman Catholic one), nor from its Lutheran church (which is also where its Reformed residents were recorded).
