In year 1875 13th of August in Kvėdarna roman catholic church the vicar of that church Josef Stantkiewicz baptized a child and named it Bartholomey with all necessary rites performed.
Parents: peasants Jurzej and Mariana nee Kowalewska spouses Pankowski in lawful marriage, son born on 12th of August this year in Alkupi village in our parish.
Godparents: peasants Piotr Idiszis?? (or Kupszis? really hard to tell) and Barabara, wife of Anton Girczis??0 -
Thank you Derek and Igor for your translation help. Igor, you have translated several baptisms for Yuri and Mariana Pankowski's children for me. In your opinion, do you think that the Jurzej Pankowski in this translation is the same man as the Yuri Pankowski in the other translations? Maybe Jurzej and Yuri are the same name, just different people writing it differently in the records. I'm Just trying to determine if this is the same man and not another Pankowski.
