Marriage Date?
Can someone tell me the date of this marriage in 1776 on this Norway record for Torstein Jonsen Lillefale and Marit Larsdatter? I know back then they used Moveable Feast Days, but can't read it to translate it to a date on the calendar. Thanks!

The record reads "Samme dag", "same day" as the previous record. The previous record reads "Trinit: 8 dag" which would be the 8th Sunday after Trinity-28 July 1776.

I am changing my mind here. I think, after looking some more, that it reads "Trinit: S dag", which is Trinity Sunday-9 June 1776.

Norm, I agree with you that is says Trinit S dag which is trinity Sunday, which in 1776 is June 2nd, June 9th is 1st Sunday after trinity.
