1852 Marriage Certificate with Unusual Input

Hello. I have a few questions about this marriage certificate, and I’m hoping someone can help.

1. This certificate has a phrase that I have not seen before…”nominato Faggio”. Can anyone tell me what this means? Was the groom born with a different name?
2. The groom’s name is listed as “Simone Casagrande di Genova”. Usually it lists the father’s name, so why does this say “Genova”, especially since it states he was born and living in Neirone, which seems more specific. Does this mean that his father is unknown?
3. Where the groom’s mother’s name should be, what does “consegnato…” mean? I’m having trouble reading it. I do see that the mother's name is Maria Schiappiacasse.

2. Looks like he was a foundling in a hospital;
