PQS and repairing an indexing error
The 1880 census for my 2nd great-grandparents and their children was poorly indexed. Their surname - Burgess - was indexed as Burass. Augusta LHN1-88H, my 2nd GGM, was 39 in that census, born in 1841. The 39 has been indexed as 19, and then the birth year has been calculated as 1861 in post processing.
I've painstakingly edited the surname of each member of their large family, and I've edited Augusta's age to 39. But, I cannot edit the estimated year of her birth. No matter how many times I have tried, that field is not available to edit.
Now, perhaps this is not a PQS problem, but it impacts the PQS score. Any hope of a way to fix problems of this nature?
Yes, I know I can dismiss the error with an explanation. But, I would rather have the information appear correctly on her profile.
Thanks.

And another example - Mary Caroline Burgess L8P5-FQR is correctly indexed as age 32 in the 1870 census. Unfortunately, the calculation of her year of birth uses some strange math, as that is listed as 1818.
Of course, the PQS calls out a conflict in her year of birth.

Update: the edit fields on many records has been improved. Just checking back to see if these particular issues have been cleared up, or are now editable.
Thanks so much for your input.

Hi Rhonda, and thanks for the update.
50% better😉
I'm able to edit the year of birth for Augusta LHN1-88H. I'll check back and make sure the change has stuck and not made the index disappear. Unfortunately, the PQS still calls out the error in year of birth. That may clear up later. I know sometimes the PQS does not immediately refresh.
I can add a better year of birth for Mary Caroline L8P5-FQR, but the bad estimated year of birth is still there, and I see no way to get rid of it. The PQS still calls out an error for her year of birth.

@Rhonda Budvarson Both profiles are improved today. No more age/birth year issues from those specific records.
Thanks.2
