Ortssippenbuch Tschonopel 1762-1945
I have been researching my husband's family lines for the past year, and have made great strides. Many of his ancestors came from Germany to Hungary (Priglevicza, Kernei, Apatin, Csonopla, etc.). I just discovered the existence of Ortssippenbuch Tschonopel 1762-1945 by Johann Feith, Johann Kainrad, & Johann Kemmer, and would love to use this book and then donate it to the FamilySearch library. Does anyone have a copy they'd be willing to sell to me (I'll pay a fair price plus shipping), or know of how I could find my own copy? The FamilySearch library does not appear to own this book already.

If you haven't already, I suggest you join the Donauschwaben Villages Helping Hands email list (https://donauschwaben-villages.groups.io/g/main), and ask about the book there.
Also, the Vojvodina Archive has scanned and put online most of the bishop's/archive's copies of the registers for the Csonoplya RC church, as well as some of the Jewish congregation's records. (The date ranges are 1828 to 1895 and 1861 to 1895, respectively, but there are a few gaps.) The website is progressing nicely in terms of English useability. (It used to only actually work if you set it to Serbian Cyrillic.) It does require signing up for a (free) account, and approval can take some time — it's not automated, apparently. (Unless they've changed things recently.)

Thanks, Julia—I have asked that group on their Facebook page with no luck. And FamilySearch has records for the town from about 1825 on, but I was hoping to find earlier ancestors. But thank you so much for commenting and trying to help!

Asking on Facebook is likely to be less effective than asking on the actual email list: I know I'm not the only one who's on the list but doesn't do FB. (I have enough friends and family who do use it to know that what it deigns to show people is far from everything that has been posted.)
You're right that the Serbian archive is redundant for researching Catholics, as FS has the bishop's copies, too (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/3427). (My spouse's relatives from the region were Lutheran.) But that reminds me of another resource: the archbishopric's e-research site. It's subscription-based, and I have no idea about its English useability (since I know the language and haven't subscribed), but the availability table (https://archivum.asztrik.hu/?q=oldal/feldolgozottsag-attekinto-tablazat) is not paywalled, and it says they have Csonoplya's births/marriages/deaths starting in 1762. (The table transposes some letters in the placename: it's labeled "Csonpolya".)

Oh, that's fantastic information about the archbishopric's e-research site! Thank you for that great lead—I will look into it.
