An explanation of this oddity (Sweden)
I have a situation where two men named Jonas Pettersson are recorded with the same birth day and place in the household surveys. I have traced each of them across their lifetime in the surveys, and there are definitely two men. One lives in Blekinge, one in Malmöhus.
How did the one mistakenly have the birth date and place of the other recorded in the residence entry—- that is what puzzles me. It doesn´t seem to be a random mistake. His info is the info of another Jonas Pettersson, who is quite a distance away.

The source that is titled "Residences of . . . " Please read the last paragraph in the green section.
Any ideas how this came about? Thank you in advance!
