Marriage Record No. 50, Scan 78 of 137, Dabie, Evangelical Parish, dated the 24th September 1844, of a young man, August Szmidt, a clothier, resident of Dabie, 20 years and 2 months old, born in colony Police, near town Kolo, son of Marcin and of Dorota, born Krehan, married couple Szmidt, farmers, and of a maiden Anna Karolina Ludwig, 20 years and 5 months old, living with her parents, she was born in Dabie, daughter of Samuel Ludwig and of his deceased wife, Anna Renata, born Ziegler, married couple Ludwig, clothiers, the father living in town Dabie. This marriage was preceded by three Marriage Banns, published in this Evangelical Parish, they both being of Evangelical-Augsburg faith. No impediment was detected. The oral permission of the father of the bride was granted. The newly-marrieds state they have not entered into a prenuptial agreement.
