I went on FreeBMD.org.uk to search for the index of this marriage. The registrations district is in the county of Kent. Parish is Pembury. Genuki.org.uk lists all the parishes for each county and Pembury fits best with the handwriting.
Hope this helps.

I agree with Kathleen.
There are three ways to resolve these situations. For both, find the registration district. Genuki not only lists parishes in a county but also lists parishes within a registration district. See
You can do the same using a program called UK Parish Finder
A third way is, using the GRO reference number, go to
However, this database is not complete.

This is very helpful. Can anyone help me interpret the handwriting for the remainder of the document? I cannot understand what is written very well.

The entry shows Valentine was a carpenter of Wandsworth whose father was Joseph, a farmer, and Ann Pavey (as previously stated) was of Pembury, whose father Stephen was a parish clerk. Both are shown to be single persons and of "Full age" - meaning they were over the age of 21.
Please come back with anything else which is unclear.
There is an 1881 census record of them and their children (not transcribed perfectly well!) at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27D-S7F6, screenshot below:
