Residence in Fron, Oppland, Norway
I am trying to figure out the residence for Peder Johannesen on the following three records. Can anyone figure it out? I'm getting something like "Röjsen" but cannot find such a place.
First record is baptism of Peder b 7 Nov 1813; father in margin looks like Peder Johansen, Röjsen?. (left page, first record under 1814)
https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9252/44885/13
Second is marriage, 6 Jun 1819 of Peder Johannesen, Röjsengli? and Rönnoug Syversdtr Soelbroestuen. (top left record)
https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/8924/85973/4
Third record is baptism of Marit, b 12 Jul 1819 to Peder Johansen, Röjsen? (second record on right side)
https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9256/44888/49
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Edit to add: I also found Peder Johansen's 1806 confirmation record. Here it looks like Rösen? (Right side, 8th confirmand under 1806)

In most of your referenced images, the name looks like Røjsen or Røijsen (Røisen would be the same name). Oluf Rygh's Norwegian Farm Names book lists 7 farms with the name Røisen. There are none in Oppland county, but some are listed in parishes in neighboring counties. You can see that list here: https://www.dokpro.uio.no/perl/navnegransking/rygh_ng/rygh_soek.prl?s=e&AMT=&start=Search&HERRED=&SOGN=&GNAVN=R%C3%B8isen&GNR=&LITTREF=&REFORDF=&BIND=&SIDE=&SOEKESTRENG=&med_amt=on&med_herred=on&med_sogn=on&konkordanse_streng=hurtigliste&sort_tfunn=-&sort_amt=1&sort_herred=2&sort_sogn=3&sort_gard=4. Keep in mind that names are spelled the way the person writing the record thought they should be spelled-there is no 'correct' or 'incorrect' spelling to names.
The place name in the marriage record is Røijsen followed by "gl". "Gl" (gammel) is supposed to be followed by his age. A space was left for the age, but it looks like it never got filled in. See the other records on the page for other examples.

Comparing all your examples. I would think that the name is probably Røysen. There are two tenant farms of that name in Sør Fron in Oppland:
Røysen, Røyse, and Røysa are all totally equivalent as are Røi..., Røj..., and Røy....
I'm not familiar enough with Oppland to say how common it was for people to use the farm section name rather than the main farm name as their last name but this was done on occasion. I do think it may have been likely on the Prestegården farm which by 1950 had been divided into 78 sections so it was pretty big to begin with and even in the early 1800s people may have been using the section name to show who they were.. Svelle, in 1950, still only had 6 sections by then. I would be inclined to suggest you look first for this family at Prestegården in Sør Fron

Thank you @Norm Baker ! I'm on a quest to figure out who Peder's parents are. He was born ~ 1793 but the Fron church records only go back to 1799. Fortunately, there are 3 possible family matches in the 1801 census so I'm going to go through the records for those three families to see if any match up. I'm sure I will be back with more questions!

One more followup question. Would "Røssem" be a reasonable spelling variation? (although it sure looks like an "n" at the end in my records.

Thank you @Gordon Collett ! Your and @Norm Baker 's messages got me investigating various spellings and I found this interesting forum thread about my same family:
In this thread the 10 Nov post from "Odd Jan" says:
"Hovdhaugen does not mention any place called Røjsen/Røsen in his farm history. But I have found the name used in the church registers both in 1801 and later - perhaps in 1819 when a layman's wife died who then lived at "Røysen u. Moen". The name itself means a cairn - stone cairn (in the Frons dialect Røsen is the dative of a cairn). The place was probably never anything other than a liter cottage, which is why the name is no longer known. Moen is otherwise the farm that lies on the plain just south of the center of Vinstra."
One of my three 1801 census matches for Peder Johannesen b 1793 was indeed a family at Moen. I'll have to search the church records to see if I can also find reference to "Røysen under Moen".
The 1801 census for Moen has parents Johannes Pedersen and Marit Erlandsdatter age 42 and only one child Peder age 9
I think the mother died that year because I found a 5 July 1801 death record for Marit Erlandsdatter Rossen? age 41:
https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9252/44880/3
I see that one of the godparents for Peder's first child in 1813 is also from Moen so that is supportive.
I still have many records to look up but I think I'm getting closer!
Thanks again to both of you!

When I zoom in on norgeskart at Moen I see a place called "Røysabakkin" right on Kapellvegen.

I was able to find a 2 Sept 1819 burial for a Mari Hansdatter age 68 from "Røijsen under Moen" if I read it right.
https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/8924/85965/3
This seems to match the (family#15) Mari Hansdatter age 51 in the Moen 1801 census and confirms there was a "Røijsen under Moen".

That burial record does have that name pretty clearly. However, I have alway been under the impression, and may be wrong, that it was common to put two dots over the letter y to indicate it was a y the same way a line is often drawn over a u to indicate it is really a u. So I would read that name as Røysen under Moen.

Thank you @Gordon Collett ! I'm a beginner at learning to read these Norwegian records so your help is very much appreciated!
