Fåberg, Oppland, Norway 1764 birth - anyone up for a challenge?
Elisabet Antoinette Nimb gave birth to an unnamed child in 1764 (records are unreadable for me) at the age of 12, father was Ole Larsen. I do not have a specific date and am wondering what the record says, was it ****, sex of child, born dead? I got this information from references to this from the births of her children in 1769 and 1780, children from different fathers and she was never married. This information was gleaned by help from a volunteer on your site. Does anyone want to tackle this, if not I understand.

I found the child in question here: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9275/229 , but the mother is listed as Else Nimb rather than Elisabet Antoinette Nimb. Doing some searches for Else Nimb and Elisabeth Ant* Nimb in digitalarkivet, I believe they are two separate people. There is an Else Nimb born 1844 who I believe is the mother to Boel in the above birth record. There is Elisabeth Antoinette Nimb born 1753 in Vardal, Oppland (she is in Family Tree-LY4S-R4G . Could you look at this and see if you come to the same conclusion? Thanks.
ps. Sixty year old Anthonette Elisabeth Nimb is listed here as "avdød" but isn't showing up in my searches this time: https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/267/pg00000001215854 . She is probably the same as Elisabeth Antoinette Nimb.

I do not have a link, I am sorry. There are 2 Else Nimb, sisters, Elisabet Antonette and Else Dorothea. I think I have confused the two and I am actually descended from Marte Jonasdatter born 1780 to probably Else Dorothea. The 1780 birth of Marthe to Else Nimb says she is the 3rd child born to this unmarried woman and another researcher helped me find births of these 3 including the first in 1764 which seems very young for her since she would be just 12 years old, but with the earlier birthdate of 1745 she would be 19 and it is possible and not as disturbing as a 12 year old giving birth. Thank you for pointing out the two, it made me see it in a different light...how did I miss that before?

@Norm Baker, I agree with your research and that it seems to be two different women. @Linda Johnson_18, there also would almost certainly have been a note in the child's birth record about the mother being so young if that had been the case; however, it is listed as a regular illegitimate birth, which also points to @Norm Baker's statement that there are two different women and that the mother to Boel is the one with the earlier birth date. It can be easy to confuse people in the records, because many people had similar (or exactly the same) names, so it's important to check all of the details to make the correct connections.

Thank you for finding the birth of Boel, I did not have a name for that child. I had taken the wrong Else from my cousin who had done the research and am glad to clarify this error. I know it is wrong on My Heritage and other sites, I will get it corrected. Thanks again!
