Mesna Local Parish
According to the Norwegian Archives site:
On 1 January 1903, the market town of Lillehammer was separated from Fåberg parish (prestegjeld) and the area became Lillehammer parish (prestegjeld). Out of the remaining part of Fåberg parish (prestegjeld), Fåberg parish (sogn) became the main parish (sogn), and the former Lillehammer rural district (sogn) became an annex parish (sogn) under the name of Mesna parish (sogn).
There are parish records for Fåberg sogn and for Mesna sogn. I am trying to determine if Mesna sogn ever had its own church. I can't find any evidence it did but it seems strange there would be a separate register for the sogn if there was not a separate church. I have not run into that before.
Does anyone know where the people of Mesna sogn attended church and took care of christenings and such?

Thank you. I was aware of the research wiki page but what am trying to determine is which church the people in Mesna parish attended for services, christenings, marriages, and such. Every other parish I've worked with have an easily recognizable church associated with it, such as Fitjar church being the church for Fitjar parish. But Mesna parish has no church associated with it that I can find.
