Translation of Swedish godparent names and maybe military titles?
Hi. I am going through my 4th great grandfather's children's birth records. This record is on two pages; first page excerpted, but full first part of record for Margretha Elizabeth Kindstrand and second page excerpted, but full second part of record. The godparent names have titles (such as Mr and Mrs) and include occupations that might be military references. These two points (titles and military) would be a first for my family. Can you help translating the godparent section? Here's what I have figured out ->
Conductor? Mr. P. Hagström and Commander? (Befalln:Man) P. Blomberg of Bersbo. Mrs XX [Prosterian??; no idea what this word is or what it refers to] C M Scharff of Grebo, and young Mrs. Lisa Maria Blomberg of Bersbo. Thank you very much, J.

The godparents are:
- Conducteur Herr P. Hagström o[ch]
- Befalln[ings]man P. Blomberg vid Bersbo
- Fru Prostinnan C.M. Scharff i Grebo o[ch]
- Jungfru Lisa Maria Blomberg vid Bersbo
Approximate translation (the exact function of the title holders is difficult to determine without knowing the local circumstances at that time):
- Supervisor Mr. P. Hagström and
- Commissioner P. Blomberg at Bersbo
- Wife of the provost (higher priest) C.M. Scharff in Grebo and
- Maiden Lisa Maria Blomberg at Bersbo
Note added: As Bersbo was a mining village at that time the functions "Supervisor" and "Commissioner" were probably connected with that activity.

Thank you, once again Ulrich. I have more lines to pursue. Yes, so far my male Swedish ancestors were strictly miners, possibly copper mining. J.
