Translation help: Swedish letter
Hi
This is a longish letter but I would be so grateful for a translation. My great great aunt Ida Charlotta Petersson left a young son behind in Stockholm when she emigrated to Philadelphia in November 1883. She wrote this letter to the woman who was looking after her son and then was never heard from again. Her son, grandson, and now great-grandson have kept this letter for over a century and have always wondered what became of her. I've been helping her great-grandson to research the mystery and have had no luck tracing her fate in the US yet, but am hoping a precise translation of the letter might provide some clues. I do have a rough idea of what the letter says, but would really appreciate a full translation. (We don't know why she is calling herself Ida Marin in the letter.)
Thank you very much!
